Rosie Tucker

Introducing multi-talented Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Rosie Tucker, who has just recently received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California. During her time in university, Rosie released Lowlight - a collection of 9 original songs she wrote and performed herself, composed music for short films, collaborated and performed with Sokamba Performing Arts Company, and lent her poetry and music to The Altar Collective, a literary magazine and arts collective. In addition, Rosie also co-founded MUSE (Musicians Unite in Support of Equality), a student group dedicated to connecting and educating aspiring female music professionals. Inspired by MUSE, Rosie’s undergraduate thesis project investigated gender disparities in post-secondary audio-technology education in the United States.

Post-Pop band, lylyly (pronounced lē-lē-lē), exists under the mantra, "SONG IS QUEEN." From scrappy garage-rock influenced growlers and songs that begin indietronica then flip to post-grunge, to theatrical string quartet/piano ballads and plaintive ukulele/brass arrangements, whatever the song wants is what the song gets; and they give it with gusto, holding nothing back. Through each song, live and recorded, it's that full-tilt energy and front person Emily Mineo’s voice, whether stretched to its rasping limits or gliding sweet and melancholic, that draws listeners in. The outfit is the music project of Philadelphia songwriter and visual artist, Emily Mineo. Mineo (vocals, guitar), joined by Josh Zenker (bass), Kelvin Cochrane (guitar), and Jared Williams (drums) form the core lineup. Other collaborators, such as singer-songwriter Sophie Coran (piano), and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Frankie DeRosa of TheBandIvory (brass, strings), contribute frequently to lylyly's motley sound.

Philadelphia multi-instrumentalist Prudence Delilah lives at a crossroads of projects, engaging in a menagerie of genre and style. In Noera, she brings to life songs from the abstract of queer living to swell your heart and split it in two. Often compared with Pile and other odd-rock projects from the past 20 years, she and her crew break thru sound barriers in a live setting with a mix of thundering punk rock bombast and quiet moments that make you believe they truly understand something about you. With one LP already under their belt, Noera's most recent release is on a comp thru Bummerpresents benefitting No More Dysphoria
